Lights in The Distance

One more picture from Bjärred beach, still no sunset in sight. But the water looks really cool in this long exposure. Maybe someone spilled a lot of milk in the ocean?

  1. I love this creamy effect. It looks cool, but in this picture it also looks cold and wintery – the sky I suppose. I have been trying to get this effect in my long exposures, without much luck. But it does now strike me that maybe I should be trying when the sky is deeply overcast. I will have to have a try again.

    • Thanks! I agree, it looks cold but it was about 15 degrees yesterday when I did these shots. But I guess that the whitebalance I used and other settings in camera raw made it colder.
I think it is a good idea to find a day with lot of clouds, and the use a lot of “white” in camera raw together with the wihitebalance on the blue scale, could make it happen for you 🙂

      • Thanks so much for those tips. I had not thought of some of them but now you mention it I can only wonder why i did not – still learning is what it boils down to.
